• Molodyi theatre, play for children “Drozdoborod’s finicky love”

 

The kids from Boryspil children’s home where in for a fine weather, good mood and an interesting trip!

At first a few words about the news from this children’s home. At present there are 10 kids there, two went to Italy and three were taken by parents or relatives for the holidays. Short time ago Vasia, who was found on the market several years ago, was adopted… And very soon “Berehynia” will meet newcomers: three sisters of two, three and ten years old.

At 10 a.m. I arrived to children’s home by the rented Mercedes bus which I had adorned with paper streamers and self-made snowflakes. The kids were ready; I was pleased that they remembered me, even though it had been quite a long time since we last met… The children were accompanied by their teacher Svitlana Stepanivna and senior teacher Yaroslava Serhiivna who took some apples to snack in the trip. And off we went!

In an hour Halyna Borysivna joined us; she made a very interesting excursion and also snag with the kids and treated them with candies for good knowledge of Kyiv history! Almost at the end of our excursion our bus skidded in front of Andriivska Church, but people kind and fair are everywhere. The sellers from Andriivskyi descent and even tourists helped to push our bus! Unfortunately, this small trouble prevented us to get to the Golden Gates, but anyway, the kids enjoyed this tour around the city!

  

At half past one a dinner at McDonalds was waiting for us. The kids were happy to get a toy from the Happy Meal and balloons from McDonalds staff! But we had no time to sit around and approximately at two o’clock we headed for the theatre!

Molodyi theatre had already invited charity kids for the plays many times! That day we had a pleasure to see the first night of the play “Drozdoborod’s finicky love”. The play was interesting, funny, with lots of dances and songs!

After the play Oleksiy (who provided us with the transport, by the way) treated the kids with juice and candies, and then we moved to the check room. And in ten minutes we had to say goodbye, however, we did not wanted to… The kids invited me to them, and I decided to use this opportunity in several days.
