One day in the "Misto Sontsia"

Exactly the such action was held by charity theatre calls  Misto Sontsia Theatre.

Not every children's home is lucky to have chiefes or curators ... But these children also want  to visit the planetarium, theater, dolphinarium or go for a walk in Kyiv and listen interesting guide's story.
So our theatre decided to organize, except its main activities such as showing plays and educational programs,  leisure for children which can't have so many happy moments in their life.

Natalia Grabovska, artistic director of the Misto Sontsia Theatre, told that such measures are not organized as often as desired, but at least one time in month they give cheerful hours children from childrens' homes and vary their lifes.

Ms. Natalia says: "There are many problems, the main of them is the absence of transport, fuel or money for a bringing of children from their boarding. But if you really wants something, there is nothing impossible. Another things are already easy. Many people, firms, institutions can and want to help. We must only remind them about this from time to time. And almost nobody refuses".

That's why our theatre is friends with one of the capital's Dolphinarium, which has repeatedly invited boys and girls from children's home, boarding schools and children from poor families to see its performance.
Last Saturday children were met again in this entertainment institution. The Dolphinarium and store "The  World of left-handed person" organized celebration of the International Left-handed Person's Day.

Oksana Purik, volonter of theatre, says: "I accidentally found out about this celebration. It happened only because of me. I am left-handed person too and regular customer in this useful shop for people like me. Irina Grigorovich, representative of committee, handed us an invitation to a holiday for children from poor families".

And finally we were on the celebration. Many different quizzes, competitions were waited for children during several hours. Young left-handed persones competed in the shooting with bow and arbalist, painted, played with clown. It was extremely fun, and even you are old person you can't be bored. The store "The  World of left-handed person"  also presented a special set for writing Masha from one children's home. She is left-handed too.

When children played plenty interesting program with participation of dolphins and fur seals already were waited for them. Kids were delighted! Unfortunately almost none of them have seen such performances earlier.

The holiday in the dolphinarium was ended, but the Misto Sontsia Theatre extended program for children. Delicious dinner was waited for children in one of the restaurants. While it cooked, the children jumped on the inflatable slide, swayed on the swing, considered animals in mini-zoo, and even fished in the pond. After dinner children get a gift multicolored balloons, and then they did not want to go away, and invited theatre to themselves.
